The Montessori goal is to free the individual’s own potential for constructive self-development by building self-confidence and self-motivation. Following Montessori’s approach, the child’s dignity, freedom and independence are paramount, and we support and encourage learning by observing and following the child’s needs and interests.
What our Parents say
P has thrived at the school through learning to interact with others including sharing, team work, cooperation in collaborative activities, and perseverance in independent activities.
L has gained so much in this rich environment. He has learned to consider others, share, be very polite, work as a team, and has developed so many interests in the world around him. The calming environment has been very beneficial for him.
B has been able to mature and develop within a safe and supportive environment. He has been exposed to an incredibly varied array of activities and has has unbridled ability to ask questions in the knowledge that they will be answered. He has benefited hugely from the enormous number of learning opportunities that he has been afforded at CCH and his next school will struggle to match this rich environment.
